Versions
Phantom Linux comes in 4 versions, modeled after the concept of popular OSes:

WindowsX
WindowsX
WindowsX is the most resource hungry among Phantom Linux versions, as it is based on KDE Plasma. However, it still requires less than half of the resources of another popular OS. Thus, it can run even on older hardware - just not too jurassic.

MacX
MacX
MacX is the right combination of elegance and low resource requirements. It is based on Xfce and does not break your wallet. Indeed, it's completely free. It is dedicated to the user that wants a no frills system: Simple to use, straightforward, intuitive, that always works.

LinuX
LinuX
LinuX is the least resource hungry among Phantom Linux versions. It is based on the classic Lxde. If you have older hardware, you will be happy with this full-featured system with a low imprint.

Feather
Feather (x86_64 and i686 versions)
Feather is a lightweight special edition of Phantom Linux. Based on a switchable icewm/jwm and spacefm/rox environment, it can run in less than 192 Mb, with the caveat that the installer needs 1 Gb just for itself.
