I've recently bought a portable gas heater from Calor (DeLonghi Quattro Plus mannequin that runs on butane fuel) to heat up my room. I've decided to buy alpha heater a gas-based mostly heater as a substitute of an electrical one as a result of I'm a student who spends quite a lot of time at residence (studying) and electricity-based heaters can have a huge effect on electricity consumption. So cost saving was an actual concern for me. It so happens that once i finally got the heater and switched it on I could not believe the mistake I had made. Running on its medium heating setting it took me about 5 minutes to start feeling (barely) dizzy and at about 10 minutes running time I was having an headache. My (only) window and door had been shut, so there was no ventilation in the room. I did a bit of research on the web and rapidly learnt that unvented gasoline heaters need the rooms they're operating in to be ventilated.
