Denise Coates, the billionaire manager of Bet365, added another ₤ 323m to her wealth today after the business her household established racked up another year of substantial revenues.
She's been called the UK's most effective woman, with a fortune that Forbes publication puts in the region of ₤ 9.3 bn.
Most noticeably, she has actually made that largely herself.
Bet365 is Stoke-on-Trent's largest personal sector employer, with more than 4,600 staff. It provides its countless worldwide consumers sports betting, poker, gambling establishment, video games and bingo. The firm had a ₤ 3bn turnover in the year to the end of March and a revenue before tax of ₤ 791m.
Ms Coates' sibling John is joint chief executive and her father Peter is the firm's chairman, but Denise Coates owns half the business and there's no doubt the success is mostly hers.

Serious gamblers tend to have a "system", an apparently foolproof approach that will continue bringing benefits. So what's her "system"?
Return to the 1990s and there aren't lots of who would have gambled on the small family-run chain of local wagering stores growing to such a size.
A lot is down to her mathematical skill, which was amazing from an early age. David Owen taught her at secondary school in the 1980s.
"She got everything right, only asked significant concerns and was angelically acted. She was plainly off the scale. If we were talking Mensa, she 'd be in the leading 1%," he informed the BBC.
'More women'
She achieved a first-class degree in econometrics and trained as an accountant within the yohaig code family company, building further on the knowledge of the little chain that she selected up while working part-time throughout high school.
In addition to a really keen eye for figures - the heart of any effective bookie - she is also a moderniser.
Among her colleagues, Debbie Tatton, told the yohaig code BBC: "When Denise came, she desired a closer relationship in between the personnel and the clients. We became a lot more professional, a lot more customer-focused. A lot of younger individuals started being available in, as well as a lot more girls."
In 2000, Ms Coates upped the stakes and encouraged the household to mortgage business to permit them to develop new software.
Her bro states she became focused on the capacity for online betting and became a pioneer in that company.
Establishing headquarters in a short-lived structure in a parking area, Ms Coates called it the supreme gamble, buying the domain Bet365.com so that she could drive the service because direction.
'Innate knowledge'
"She's extremely intelligent and extremely identified," states Warwick Bartlett, from global betting and gaming specialists GBGC.
"She is likewise efficient in taking a look at the big photo. Betfair was the innovator in in-play betting, but she was generally the very first to harness mobile technology, acknowledging that gamblers anywhere would have the yohaig code ability to bank on sporting events."
A big 70% of earnings now comes through wagering on tablets and phones.
She is helped, Mr Bartlett says, by the fact that she, uniquely, actually knows the yohaig code industry. "The Coates household are third-generation bookmakers. They have actually found out the business from parents and grandparents.
"She has an innate knowledge of what the bettor is searching for. A great deal of the business nowadays have managers that might have come from [other sectors] They are expert supervisors who attempt to apply their understanding gained from offering beans or margarines."
Ad controversy
Mr Bartlett states close understanding of another business has actually assisted with the in-play football income: Bet365 owns local club Stoke City.
"Owning a football club gave them an insight into the way the Premier League worked. Stoke City, not so successful itself, has actually played groups that actually are," he says.
"On top of the contact with the professionals they take advantage of protection through the sponsorship of the group. Bet365 has great exposure whenever Stoke are included."
Ms Coates' dad is chairman of Stoke and has a higher public profile than she does.
But the name best related to Bet365 is, of course, Ray Winstone, whose gravelly tones utilized to advise punters to "wager in play - NOW!" before the ads were pulled.
Again, Warwick Bartlett states, Ms Coates got it right. "Using Ray verifies my point about 365, they know their customers. He's a middle-aged guy and a little bit of a geezer.
"Cleverly, Bet365 use similar types to attract their clients in other markets. In Australia, it's Samuel L Jackson - he encounters in the advert as a very cool guy."
Bet365 continues to keep one step ahead. It's moving into the US as the marketplace there opens up.
But while Denise Coates' business brain thinks international, she herself is most likely to remain rooted in Stoke.
